Dr Rickwood is rapidly becoming one of Australia’s experts on the ageing population due to her broad knowledge and understanding of the over 50’s gained from conducting her own Insights Study participating in relevant webinars, reading Australian and international reports, books, academic papers and liaising with people in the industry.

As the Founder and CEO of the Three Sisters Group, Dr Rickwood is a member of the Australian Association of Gerontology and is committed to being at the forefront of knowledge by attending the leading Australian conferences and continuously being involved in original research in the area of ageing.

Joanna Harnett

Joanna is one of only a few qualified Naturopaths with a PhD in the field in Australia. She has dedicated her life to the study and practice of natural medicines. Joanna worked for 15 years in an integrative medical practice where she pioneered and advocated for the role of natural medicine as part of a holistic approach to the treatment and management of complex health issues. More recently Joanna focussed her expertise towards teaching and research within the Faculty of Pharmacy at The University of Sydney where she is responsible for the development and delivery of an integrated program in Complementary Medicine.

Joanna is passionate about the role Complementary Medicine can play in contributing towards the wellbeing and vitality of our aging population. She is regularly invited to speak to primary healthcare professionals, academics and policy makers nationally and internationally. She brings wisdom, a depth of insight and experience along with a strong commitment to ensuring the difficult questions are discussed and answered.
